Does anyone know if you can mail paperback books to Beaumont Low?

What about paperback puzzle books?

I bought some tonight at the store & wanted to mail them Monday...then I realized that Beaumont could have different policies from Seagoville. Anyone know?

Thanks!

I don't know the rules at Beaumont low....but its best to call and ask someone who is familiar with the mail room policy.

Well, I could never get an answer from the mail room on the books. My husband says his handbooks states that I can mail the books to them - so I did. Because of the holiday, and the fact that I sent them media mail, I won't know until around Thursday if he received them or if they're coming back to me.

I'll let you know, though, in case someone else has this question.

I haven't personally dealt with a low...but a year/two or maybe longer ago, they changed the policy a little to where at some institutions, mainly med/high I believe, all books had to come from publisher or store. Many on the lower securities continued to say they could still mail them...

So please do let us know...so the next one questioning Beaumont Low will have an answer first hand and not have to suffer the endless search!

He called last night & received the books!

The only odd part was that they removed them from the envelope I mailed them in & put them in one of theirs - the only reason I can think of for this was that I mailed them in one of those bubble packing envelopes - I didn't want them to get damaged.

At least he got them, though; I'll be sending him several more over the coming weeks as I clean out my library & decide which ones he might want.
