I Am Trying To Prepare For My Surrender This Monday (oct 2, 2006) And Have Two Questions I Need Answered Asap.. And I Truly Thank You For Your Help..

1- Is There A Limit To How Much Mail You Can Recieve At Once???

because I Have 5-6 Minila Envelopes Made Up To Send To Myself Before I Go.. With Pictures, Documents (non-legal), Etc.......each Has Anywhere From 5 To 20 Papers In Them..2- I Want To Send Money To Myself Via Western Union.. Can I Do This About An Hour Before I Have To Be There And It Will Go Through Alright?? Or Will It Go Through At All Since I Am Not At My Facility Yet ???

I don't know if you can send money to yourself...but I do know if you send it an hour before you self-surrender, it'll be on your books immediately.

As far as the mail...I would call the facility to see if they would let you receive something with more than 6-8 pages in it. I sent something to my husband one time (he was in FCI Seagoville then) that had 10 pages & it was mailed right back to me. It wasn't just print-outs from websites...it was artwork from the children, a letter from myself, etc. If you aren't sure about the page length, I'd go ahead & break it up into smaller groups...
