This is my very first poem that I wrote about 12 years ago.


You came into my life and you made me realize just what true love is.

Then you leave me stranded without ever letting me tell you just how much you mean to me.

All this time I have been searching for you and I have yet to love another as much as I love you.

When I have just about given up on finding you and fulfilling the love this is still aching in my heart for you...

You appear out of a cloud like an angel, and you give me back the love that I thought was gone forever.

I will love you always...

Donna...I have thought about writing. Unfortunately as far as writing my poetry I can't write on command. When I write a poem it's when my emotions run so high that I can't explain it to anyone, I can only write it down. So many times I have only written like 2-3 poems a year. In some cases I hadn't written in a few years. Like now, I haven't written a poem in a couple months, I have so much going on at home, work & w/EJ that it's hard for me to sit down & try. Too many different emotions running around...

DJS- I COME UP WITH THE MOSTSTUFF ACTUALLY WHNE I AM ALONE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD- I KEEP SAYING I AM GOING TO BUY A MINI TAPE-RECORDER BECAUSE IF I DONT WRITE IT DOWN RIGHT THEN, I LOSE IT. I THINK IT HAS A LOT TO DO WITH WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT BEING SO BUSY- A LOT OF TIMES THE ONLY "QUIET,SELF" TIME I GET IS IN MY CAR.

sherri, I believe a "MINI TAPE-RECORDER" would be COOL!

But just remember, such thoughts are not really gone, they just group with others (when they fit) at some point in time.
