My girlfriend is going to be transferred the the RCF at Kirtland on thursday for a 5-8 month sentance. I was wondering if anyone knows how they treat inmates, visitation etc. anything helps. Thanks

do they house female inmates there? i was under the impression that all female military inmates go to the miramar brig (san diego).

Apparently they do, they transprted her there yesterday. A friend of ours who works in CID said its not that bad of a place, i just need to see how they run the visitation schedule

i'm still working on this... i found this where it looks like they are or will be moving all the correctional facility duties to miramar. unfortunately, i can't find any links yet to the kirtland RCF... i'll let you know if i do

Sorry it took me so long to reply, they do house them there evidently, she called me collect today and shes been there for about a month. she said it wasnt as bad as she expected. I also seen that article, not sure of the exact date, or when they were going to transfer inmates to mirimar.
