Well, I think it would take hell freezing over. LOL But I hope you can get it.

A large group of folks worked really hard about 15 years ago to get conjugal visits in the Oregon prisons. The bill even made it through the Judiciary Committee but got stalled in the Ways and Means Committee - they didn't even give it a hearing. With Oregon's dismal budget situation right now - it will never pass. Maybe in the future if folks get to work on it again. Oregon CURE would be the group to work with as the former organization that worked on it no longer exists. The legislative archives would have a copy of the previous bill and maybe even the testimony given in support of it. Even the inmates at OSP collected money to have a plane fly over the capital with a banner supporting the bill. It was really a cool collective effort. Too bad it failed. Zelda
