OK folks, I love the different rules in the state DOCs, but that is OK.

I am trying to reach a former PTO member "CarolK" who is currently in Tutwiler.

Not a problem right, just like Virginia send a letter it gets to her. Well, daggummit! The rules down there are sure different than up here!

Got my letter back today, saying that I did not put the dorm no. on it. Not a problem dealt with stuff before! Call Tutwiler, find out that she has to give me the dorm no. Well, go figure? I can't reach her, she does not know I am trying to reach her again, so how am I supposed to get the dorm no.?

That is where PTO comes in! :thumbsup:

Does anyone have anyone in Tutwiler? If so please pm me, Please! Carol and I lost contact, when I was going through some stuff, and I would really like to get in contact with her again.

Patti, I hope you find someone soon that can help. I have sent voluminous mail to various men's prisons in Alabama without dorm and bed numbers with no problem. That one time I tried to send Carol a Christmas card that was returned - Tutwiler is the ONLY facility that has ever returned mail for lack of dorm #.

Most of the rest understand that on your first try you might not have the danged thing!

I just checked on Carol again, she is back in Birmingham at the CWC. I am going to fire off a letter to her tonight.
