Hello Everyone!

I am working on a project for the Texas Prison Mail Forum regarding inmate to inmate correspondence by state. I only have one simple question, well make that a couple.

Can inmates in your state correspond with Texas inmates if they are immediate family? (Yes or No?)

Feel free to send me a pm, or post the answer on this thread. Thanks so much in advance for your help in this. I truly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Lilly

Not sure if this really answers your question. But My BF & I were talking to a guy who works visitions not long ago and his Girlfriend is also in a ADC unit and he said they have to send their letters to his mom in Texas and she has to remail them, so getting letters to and from each other take them a week or more.So I would say in Arkansas, No you can not send from unit to unit...unless you are family, Maybe? Sorry I could not be of more help.Kitty

no in the state of arkansas you cannot send letters from one inmate to another unless you do it thru third party.

I guess I should have added that I think if they can not with inmates here in Arkansas, then they probably can't to inmates in other states either.

PPrisoners are allowed to correspond w/other incarcerated persons only if they are immediate family and both parties get permission from their respective wardens. Third party works too!
