WEll it seems that Stephen will be up for parole very soon ( I am not sure how because we were under the impression that he was going to state jail where there is no parole -but- I am not complaining) He will be going before the paole board by August of this year and I would like to ask any of you to please, if you feel inclined to, to write a letter of support for him..Most of you know our story but it is posted in the introduction forum...Stephen and I appreciate it very much......you can email me any letters or questions at stephen@prisontalk.com ... I am also going to send copies of any letters to Stephen....thank you for helping to bring him home to us!

Parole? Did he get time run CC? I had a state parole officer come to me when I was in the feds. I got 2 years TDC run CC with my Fed time. Since the Fed time was longer, it ate it up and I have never had to see them once out. Thank the Lord!

Fed-X..his time is going to run concurrent but we had thought that he had state jail time but now they are saying no that is all prison time and they know nothing about the jail stuff so they said he was supposed to see parole in May but he was in county so now they will see him in the next month or two..I am not sure if he is going to get released or if they are pulling our chain and then going to say oh yeah you have state jail time sorry no parole but i figure I might as well just run with this and see what happens..doesnt hurt to try ya know.....

here are some specifics on Stephen:
He is serving 2 2year sentences for felony theft...he has been in since February of this year he has requested to be apart of a bunch of programs..GED, spiritual growth, Project Rio (whatever that is, and he has also reuqested to become a trustee but the TDC moves so slow he has not started any of those as of yet. He has been completely case free during his incarceration. He has a job with my father as soon as he is released. He will be attending church with me and our 5 children and he has the support of our entire church family and our Pastor who will be giving him spiritual counseling when he is released to help keep him on track. he also plans to go to the local community college when he comes home....and I dont know what else I am so new to this myself...I will put up the letter I wrote in a bit...I just want thank you all for your help...we appreciate it!!
