My fiance has just been transfered to the pre-bootcamp program at wrightsville, he starts bootcamp Monday, September 18th. Here's my question....I just called the visitation clerk to see if I could visit him this weekend, and she told me that for the first 30 days he can only have visits from his immediate family. This Saturday is the last chance I'm gonna get to see him since they can't have visitors at bootcamp. For anyone who's gone to visitation at Wrightsville, what do you think would happen if I just showed up at visitation on Saturday? Do they have a list or something that your name has to be on to get to see the inmate? How strict are they? What happens when you first get there before you can see the inmate? I've already mailed in my visitor form. I'm just trying to decide if it's worth it to attempt to see him this weekend and what my chances are of actually getting to since I'm not considered his "immediate family". Any help from anyone who knows anything about this would be very much appreciated!

Wow, Good Question....but I personally think you will be wasting your time and money...because they are pretty strict in most units about visitations. If your form is approved by the weekend....does the 30 day thing still apply? They do have a list they check each time you go in.My only suggestion is call the warden and see if you can since it is the last weekend before he starts bootcamp.Good Luck Kitty
