I've read some post here about a special parole hearing docket. Can someone please explain to me what that is? Thanks!!

It's for non-violent offenders. They're parole dates that are bumped up. My husband wasn't supposed to come up for parole until April 2005, yet he was granted parole last month. The parole board decides who gets them, but if your person on the inside is non-violent, it's worth a shot to call the board and ask.
