I am having trouble getting set up for collect calls from my son at MDC Brooklyn where he just arrived. Correctional Billing Service says that they service 85% of the federal prisons, but not this one. MCI also does not have them on its list according to the customer service rep. Anbody know the phone number for the company that services this prison?

Well, you've tried what my suggestion would be, so I'm moving this over to the Federal Forums. Someone who actually deals with the facility should be able to answer.

Another option to consider may be to send $$ to your loved one inside so they can purchase phone time. I am pretty certain that all Fed facilities offer that.

I had to change my phone company from mci to verizon. the company that handles my collect calls is Zero Plus Dialing Inc. 888-506-0734. My husband is there too. Calls are $2.13 for 15 minutes.

my daughters father is at mdc brooklyn. i;m not sure if they allow collect calls. what i DO know is that they allow 300 mins per month if the inmate has enough money in his account to per minute. once he's used up his 300 minutes, he'll have to wait until the 1st of the next month before his minutes are replenished (that;s only if he has money in his account). HE ALSO MUST PUT U ON HIS PHONE LIST. so i think the best thing for u to do at this point until u can find someone that does do collect calls for mdc brooklyn is just Western Union some money into his account. good luck.
