My fiance has been moved to the Morey Unit at Lewis in Buckeye. Does any one know anything about this place? :confused:

Hello Anna Janssen-My boyfriend is in the Bachman Unit @ Lewis. What info are you looking for. Every unit out there has different visitation days, some have Saturday's & Sunday's and some just have Saturday or Sunday, and it all depends on what until they are in. You can call the prison and speak to the visitation area for the Morey Unit and they will let you know what his days are and what time. I go and see my boyfriend every Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 to 3:00 and the cars start lining up as early as 6:00am to enter the prison grounds @ 7:30..I usually get there about 6:45 and enter the gates @ 7:30 then I am in to see him by 8:30-It is actually not a bad complex and I have no complaints. You can send me a message if you would like to ask other questions.

I know that the complex is fine he was previously in the Buckley Unit. But due to a fight he has been moved to the Morey Unit and I was wondering particularly about that unit. That is the unit that had the riot a couple of years ago and I am really worried that this place is really worse that Buckley. We only have non-contact visits at this time and they are on Fridays.:(

:thumbsup: Dale'sforever right now he is on lock down as far as I know. I have not heard from him although he did try and call Thursday and I was not home showed up on caller ID. So I am not sure of his status as of right now. I called and was told that visits have been revoked but he will be reviewed on November Th. That is only 2 months so can't or don't understand. Thought it would be longer than that. I just want to thank the good Lord for this site and for you. You have so much in-site to this way of life and I am so grateful. Thank you.:)

I want to thank all of you who responded to my thread. The information has been very helpful in getting my mind at ease over this situation. Ray did call me today twice in fact but the connection was lousy both times and we got cut off less that one minute into the call. But they both count toward his number of calls so we were SOL. Hopefully he will try again tomorrow and our luck will be better. I swear this is all a test and I sure hope that we are passing. LOL Thank again:)
