I sent in my visitation form and it only tok a week to get approved so then I went for my first visit to see my son. I didn't have to stand in line long and the quards and all were real nice. There were people holding hands and kissing but not overboard. My son looked real good just still trying to learn who to trust and not trust. He said the hoe squad was not to bad,they were going out and picking vegetables. He signed up for SATP but they say it may take awhile to get into because there was a waiting list. I just pray he will make a friend or 2 whom he can trust. all in all I had a good visit. Just praying that this depressed feeling will go away. Thanks to you all, mattsmom1982

Glad to hear you had a nice visit! I can't imagine having a child locked up and I know it must be so hard. At least you know (and got to see) that he's doing okay so far.
