Steve&kids 06-18-2002, 04:15 PM Does anyone know if the Federal Prison System will allow an inmate to renew their wedding vows?Sure would like to do that with my wife Stephanie! Steve&kids jdswifey02 06-18-2002, 04:22 PM Steve.... It sounds like a beautiful idea, but I doubt they would go for that.... Shortie 06-18-2002, 06:36 PM call the chaplin at the prison she is at.. they may do it just ask, it never hurts.... ~cheenna~ 06-18-2002, 08:14 PM STEVE, What a romantic idea. Try Shorties suggestion, if there is any way to do it, the chaplain will know. Good Luck bookgirl 06-18-2002, 09:04 PM You could do it just by having the ceremony among yourselves at visitation. Wouldn't even need a minister since renewals aren't any kind of "official" ceremony. Renewing the vows under these circumstances is a lovely thought! danielle 06-18-2002, 09:09 PM It is a sweet thought - let us know what you find out! soraya 06-19-2002, 03:08 AM very sweet idea indeed. I agree with Shortie, the chaplain will be the one who has the answers. let us know what you find out sherri13 06-19-2002, 07:07 AM STEVE-HOPE YOU CAN WORK IT OUT- IF NOT, I AGREE WITH BOOKGIRL-DO IT INFORMALLY AT VISITATION CREAMYALMONDZ 06-19-2002, 09:25 AM You can get him to ask the chaplain. I don't see why not though if they perform marriages. |
