I need some info and I know my fellow Prisontalk forums users will be able to help me! I am not sure what time to pick him up because he is getting out on Sept. 16th! I am brand spanking new to all this prison stuff and it seems complicated at times as to which rules apply to which prisons and such. What time should I go pick him up. I have a two-hour drive to get to Donovan so I don't want to be late if anything I want to be as early as possible because I know that if when the "van" pulls into the parking lot and no one is there to pick up any of the released inmate in the van then they drop them off at the bus station in downtown San Diego. I don't want to miss him. I haven't talked to him on the phone since June 29th, only through letters. I also heard that the inmate himself is not told at what time they are going to be released until the night before. Please help!

I would call Donovan and ask the R&R Sgt. if he has any idea. But I would be there early also around 7:00 a.m. Hope this helps.

Yes! just go there as early as you can & if they drop them off at Downtown san diego, is not that far you won't missed him...goodluck!
