Well, Doc thought he heard an extra heart beat once in awhile, but
couldn't pick it up on the EKG. BP is right on target, he checked 3
times during the exame! I expected it to be low causing the
dizziness, light headed that I had experianced. So, he has me on
Wellbutrin SR (150mg), an antidepressant to see if we can calm things
back down. Next is blood test(s), he wanted to do just the min. since
I don't have insurance. But I told him I like to gamble sometimes,
but this isn't the time and let's see what there is too see. So I go
in tomorrow morning and get stabbed. He is thinking of a 24 hr
heart monitor to see how my heart does over time. But backed off
until after the blood test comes in, when he found out that it will
cost $350.00 for the monitor, for one days use. Next appt. with Doc,
in two weeks.
I told Doc, at one of these meetings we are going to have too talk
about this here "aging male dyfunctioning" thingie. He
said, "thingie?" then really laughed, you got a problem junor (he's
56)? Well, not at the present I said, but one never knows when! He
said, that he has never had a guy bring up the subject that way! LOL
Normally, it's the wife that put a bug in his ear.
When I was in the office to pay the bill, he said, "our guy thinks
he's got a thingie". The Nurse's just had a question look, but I bet
they had a good laugh after I left. :D
