Does anyone have loved ones in ASPC-Douglas?

I dont know what my loved one looks like. I've been writing to him since I'm 21, on and off, I am now 36. I never asked for a picture of him. I've send him plenty of me. But now I wish I had asked him a photo of him before. Since now you are right they dont allow picture taking... And this is the time I wish I could see his beautiful eyes as our writing his very tender and much more fun since we got to know each other alot...I dont even know how many lettrers I've written to him so far because it's alot. English is not even my fisrt language it's alot of effort for me to write in english. I'm really in love with him and have not told him... He is trying to get a picture of him from his family. So I will be patient I guess. Writing to him is a great experience for me. He is in Douglas and one day I would like to visit him.

My fiance is in the Gila Unit and will be there until the end of 2006. I am trying to get approved for a visit as I haven't been able to see him in almost 3 years. Unfortunately I was also incarcerated for a short time and due to that, it's making it difficult to get approval. I have applied to have my rights restored and after next month, I will have been out for a year - I'm hoping these items will help in my approval process. I live in Phoenix and my next step will be accomodations and travel to Douglas. Pray for me!!!

U can look up his name on the www.adcprisoninfo.az.gov website. Just type in his name and then look thru all the subjects (aliases, inmate detail, additional info, sentence....etc.) and sometimes under the additional info part, they show their mugshot. My fiance's is in there, from when he was in prison the 1st time. He looks funny. He has a mullet!!!

My man just got to Douglas today, Mohave Unit. At least, I think he's there. Alhambra told me he had been transported, but the Douglas staff keeps telling me that they can't even say if he is there. This is B.S.! I'm just trying to find out if he arrived safely.

I do! My pal is in Douglas - Mohave unit but we've never met in person yet.

I called to Douglas last Friday to see if I had been approved for visitation yet and was told that I was. So I got to spend an awesome three days with Magic - it was great (we hadn't seen each other in 3 1/2 years). Then on Tuesday I got a letter from the Deputy Warden at the yard stating I was not approved for visitation and I could appeal the decision (the letter was dated the same date I had called for a verbal approval).... WHAT THE F#*K??? Well, I am checking into it right now but I hope the phone call superceded the letter. Anyway, if I get this straightened out soon my offer still stands.... I would like to share expenses with someone who wants to go up there for visit from Phoenix. Tho motel and gas about killed me, besides the coin money for goodies with him. If you are interested in riding with me and sharing the expense on gas and a motel, please PM me and we can discuss the details.

My boyfriend was transfered to Mohave Unit in Douglas about 6 weeks ago. Visitation was nice .. but now he's in CDU and we are restricted to non-contact 2 hour visits on Tuesdays.

Staff at the Mohave unit were really nice .. A hell of alot better than the conditions in Tucson. However .. I fear Douglas is more dangerous .. things are not going well for us.

My fiance is doing well in Douglas-Mohave North. I should be able to visit him by mid-July. My only problem now is trying to locate hotels in that area. If any has info., please let me know!
