Need info on Morgantown MS in WV. My husband jsut got letter today and any info would be appreciated. What his first weeks will be like, visitation, can he call cell phones, etc. PLEASE help any info asap is greatly needed. thanks!! Jackie:mad:

jackie if you go the the bop.gov website and click on facility locator and type in the location of morgantown it will give you the rules for visiting at their location. Yes he can call your cell phone if he has money in his account to pay for the call. If not he will have to call a land line collect.

Thank you so much on this info. I have looked at BOP website. They say you can bring no toys for children. Are they nuts?? How will I keep a toddler occupied all this time with no toys?? THANK YOU for letting me know about the cell phone. I was worried I would be chained to my house not knowing when or if he would call. The visitation area at the facility should have a children's area where you will be able to find toys, books, and sometimes TV with movies. Some facilities even have a few inmates working to entertain kids with face painting and Story Time.

Finally, as you have been told... cell phones are allowed to be on the call list.
