Starting to get concerned. I've never visitied etheir he is now at the firecamp.
How do I visit we are accepted. What do you do when you get there? So
confussed. What do you wear? Can anyone help me . So new to this all.
He is at the Old folsom. Only till June 2007. Thank you for any help anyone.

Hi, leapin lene "welcome"... well my husband is also serving time in OLD FOLSOM, but he's not in camp..have u gotten approve to vist ur husband?? u must fill it out and it may take up to 2-8 weeks to get approved, once you're approved then ur husband will let u knoe...if ur husband is in firecamp, u don't need to get in line early or get a number...the visting process room is next to the parking lot, and u wait till the co opens the room... I've been visting my husband for almost a month now, and the dress code isn't bad like other prison.. you can wear black, pink, red, purple, white (if u wear bottoms, make sure it's not see through), grey bottoms, brown.. u can't wear denim and no underwire bras.. make sure ur shoes have a back strap..if u have any more info, let me knoe....:)

There could be any number of reasons so try not to worry - I am sure you will hear soon. Please keep us posted.

any one from sonoma county and a husband in old folsom. Ive been approved for visits. But havent been able to visit due to car trouble. My honey got transferred to fire camp about a month ago. he loves it . But 10 days since I have talked to him. Kids and I are missing him terribly.

I am assuming that you are talking about the "Camp", also referred to as Folsom Minimum Security Prison. (FMSP) I am not aware that there is anything called a Fire Camp at Old Folsom. It is my understanding that they have to sign up for phone time (one weekday and one weekend day) in advance. It could be that he hasn't been able to sign up for the times in knows he can reach you. The Camp is rarely on Lockdown so when you listen to the Lockdown message be sure to listen for anything pertaining to the camp, not the inmate population "behind the wall".

I'm sure you will hear from him soon. Just be patient.... you are dealing with the California Prison System.
