I am not sure if this is allowed...but I do know that the Powers to be will move or delete it if needed...lol
A little background first:Kairos Outside of Alabama is a non profit Christain organization tthat trys very hard to meet the spiritual needs of Women who have loved one incarcerated , or they themselves have been in carcerated.
Twice a year KO holds 2 3 day weekend retreats where these women can attend at no cost to them. These women are treated as guests the entire weekend and are given a safe environment in which to share with othere women who have been thru a similar experience.
The cost for such a weekend runs around $3000 to $5,000 depending on the number of guests and team. Since it is also a non profit angency we depend on donations. Either thru the private sector or thru fund raisers that our local state chapter holds several times a year.
NOW to the fun part... AppleBee's Pancake Breakfast (an all you can eat pancakes, sausage and beverage) will be held at The Trussville store on HWY 11/Gadsden Hwy on Saturday September 2nd 06 8AM - 10am
The cost is for adults is $5 and child $3. All proceeds will go towards our upcoming weekend retreat in October 06. Please come and support our women!
Yes I am again working this weekend and if anyone would like to color shields:[ Our Logo is: "...nothing can seperate us from the Love of God.." Romans 8:39] and send them back please PM me and if you can spare time to add to my pray list for the team and the guests PM me! Times are from 3pm Friday thru 3pm Sunday...in increments of 30 minutes. This goes for all of the PTO members!
