Niltze! Hello! I just wanted to let you know that some members of my dance circle have been invited to the Sundance ceremony in Pipestone, MN. Unfortunatley, I won't be able to go. But one of the elder women has offered to dance for those of us that can't go in the circle and to place the tabacco on our behalf. I just wanted you all to know that in addition to placing my prayers for my own family--I am have also sent my thoughts and prayers that our indigenous men that have been gone away from the ways and the non-indigenous men that have indigenous women too-- will come back to follow the ways of our ancestors, learn and understand the ways of the people and renew their spirits. It is a great honor to be invited to the Lakota Sundance ceremony and to be able to offer our prayers for our brothers and sisters. I can't express enough how important our cultures and traditons are. We need to keep them sacred. That is my prayer. Ometeotl! Thanks for listening..
