I think this is a great Forum Softie, Thanks!!!

Now, this Forum showed up about the time I decided to take a trip down to my friends house in southern ohio, they have a wonderful house with a huge front porch and back porch.

I needed some time to clear my head and just be away from here. I spent the better part of my time on that back porch watching the birds feed and the Humminbirds tease the cat. LOL They have a beautiful big round flower garden right there and it's just as peaceful as it gets. I would go around to the Front Porch in the evenings and watch the sunset. (I'm a nature & sunset junkie)

So, when Rachel named this The Front Porch it clicked with me. BTW Rach I had a Margarita sitting on the porch the other night.

I do believe that we ALL need to take some time to enjoy the little things in life. I know that sitting on a porch watching the birds did me a world of good. I feel better (Hubby has another date approaching)

If anyone hasn't seen the show The Messengers you need to watch it. It's wonderful. It's good for one's soul and inspiring.

Peace,
Tracy :)

I live in a log house and have a large front porch that sits up high and I have a beautiful view of the mountains, I will now think of this thread every morning when I sit on my porch swing gazing out at the mountains and forest.

That sounds like you have an amazing view. I think if I had a view like that I would never come off the porch.
