T-shirts, things like that ... stuff to bring home??
I know in the parks themselves are outrageous so I'm hoping some can give me some insight where to look ...

Id try the disney store. Any big mall has one. Or even outside Disneyland they have a Disney store. It might me cheaper then the actual theme park. Or if youre any where close to Hollywood go down Hollywood Blvd they have store that sell T-shirts cheap.

There are usually stores not to far away from the parks that sell these items.. i know that is how it is by disney world.. there are stores that sold souveiners and disney souveiners as well .. you can always look up souveiners in that area and they will tell you if and where you can buy them
