My Son Is Serving A Three Flat. He Says That He Could Possibly Be Released On Work Release After He Serves One Year. What Are His Chances/ Does Anyone Have Any Experince With Work Release?
He Has No Tickets And He Has A Drug Charge And Leaving The Scene Of An Accident Without Reporting That Caused Injury.
I Don't Think This A Violent Charge Although He Was Turned Down For Shock. Can Anyone Help?

My husband did work release... I posted a link on here with a lot of information on it. Try to do a search and if you have any further questions I'd be happy to answer them. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the thing that worries me is that his charge mentions that he caused injury. Usually that makes a crime a violent crime - whether you did so intentionally or not. I hope I am wrong but the other clue that leads me to think it is a violent crime is that he was turned down for shock. If this is his first offense, then he should have gotten shock if it was a non-violent crime. If it is not his first offense then that explains why he didn't get shock. I'll ask my husband if he knows whether this is a violent crime. I hope it's not. If you have any questions on work release let me know. :)
Just be prepared for the worst... The most he'll do is 2 1/2 years... That's if he has a violent crime. I wish you all the best! Good luck!

Hi! I just looked up his charges online and from what I gather, it seems that his charge is a non-violent crime! :) Yeah! Now I'm not 100% sure and he should really ask his counselor but I read somewhere that if it was a violent crime, they would have given him a flat bid for that charge which they didn't, they gave him a 1-3. I'm a little confused but I'm keeping the hope for you and I'm trying to get any information I can for you.
Good luck!!!
