He'll have to put your number on his phone list - and have some money on his commissary account (unless he calls collect). The phone number approval usually takes just a few days, so I'd say he could call in about a week. Visiting - you have to wait for him to send you a visiting application and then you fill it out and return it to his prison counselor - then wait to hear from your boyfriend about the approval. Yes, you can send him mail right away. If you're in Ohio and he's in West Virginia, it should take a few days to get to him. I don't know anything about that camp - perhaps someone else will have info. Prisoners usually don't have many problems about how they're treated when they're in a camp.
