This forum has been created because I felt that all of us who deal with the Death Penalty need a place to come and relax. The forum is to post anything non prison related in. Rather your having a good day a bad day. Something about the kids, something about your life.

When you life is falling apart we want to hear about it. When your life is going great we want to hear about it.
When you need a shoulder we are here. If you hear a good joke (Clean) we want to hear it.

So grab a drink, kick off your shoes, sit back and relax and come on it. We have plenty of Love and Plenty of chairs.

So come on in the weather is always great here on the Front Porch.

Please do remember that the Rules and Polices of PTO must be followed.

I was wondering what all this was going to be about. Ok... let me start. I had surgery on my knee tuesday and it ITCHES so darn bad it's driving me crazy!!!!! :-)!!!!!!!

This forum does sound like a brilliant place! I guess my previous post in this forum, talking about a Sticky thread was right. Thank you Softie for creating such a soon-to-be wonderful place. It'll be good to have a place just to relax, and discuss things that are non-DP related. The others forums on PTO have something similar, so why shouldn't we? Thanks again! :D

I just want to throw in... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR FORUM TITLE. I think it is great. I know very little about the DP, but am learning everyday...so, I just might come back to sit on the porch with ya'all, if that is ok.

oh, and BTW, Softie...how are you doing? I miss you as my mentor.

I'm goind good... just itching a lot LOL......... I got to thinking. This is a great idea, but the DP some times clouds every minute of our mind and day, it's hard to turn it off and just relax once in a while and talk about stuff and laugh. This is a good thing, maybe help us learn how to turn that switch off once in a while and just relax................

I know it is in your mind 24/7 Joy. But it is good sometimes to step back and relax if only for a minute That way you can uncloud your mind.

I am happy you all like your new forum. I can't take credit for the name Rachel (ladyarkles) came up with the name for me. I was born with O imagination...:D So I went to the lady I know who has a wonderful imagination and she came up with the name.

I think the Front Porch is a great idea as this forum needs a place to relax. I think you should post your front porch picture in here as well to give it the extra warm touch. It was such a relaxing visualization

Thank you all, i am so excited! I am already counting the days even though I don't leave until the 26th Feb. But I get the whole month of March! Thanks again it is so nice nice to be able to share :)

Patient? me! Oh no... never happen I want to wake up and find it is 26th feb in the morning LOL But yes a whole month, actually it will be closer to 5 weeks because we don't come back until 2nd
April. I am so looking forward to it. I just need to find accomodation and hire a car and figure out how to drive over there!!! we will be driving from LA to San Fran to crescent city then up to MI and into UT. hm.... any pointers from anyone on the best type of car and or route to take? Accomodation?
