We finally reached our release day!! Actually it was tomorrow, but I guess since it was a Saturday, they let him go today. He got his ankle braclet off about 10:00 this morning!! He will meet with his PO Tuesday at 1:00, hopefully SR will be so much easier than the last 2 1/2 years have been!!!

Congrats!

In many ways the Supervision can as difficult as the Incarceration. You have to go in knowing that you must prove yourself and gradually it gets better. POs have huge case loads and supervisors that scrutinize their decisions. They must err on the side of caution and be strict until they feel comfortable that you can be trusted.

I'm sure he is relieved and happy as are you. I hope he has an easy time of it, things seems to be a little more flexible in MS. Hope you stay in touch because you know a lot. B

I just want to say congrats and welcome home to your son.......but as SusanT says
Congrats!

Good luck to your son.......it's going to be hard.....I know this because my hunny only had 12 days left on paper before they got him. Best advice is to walk the line and double check the crossed T's and dotted I's! Welcome home coping's son!

I'm so happy for you both. My son hasn't even started his 30 month sentence yet. I hope he adjusts well to being out and that SR goes well for him. Keep in touch - we love to hear good stories and need to know that it's going to be ok...
