well my husband had his revocation hearing on august 16th and the hearing officer is recommending that they revoke 1 year of his parole. he had loaned his car to a friend and the friend burglarized a store and in the process my husband caught a new charge for burglary and was violated. although he was not involved in the burglary itself the officer made a comment about him associating with the wrong crowd, so i guess it's guilt by association. he's being held in jackson,ga at the classification center and the detective lied at the hearing. his testimony was totally different from the one he gave at the commitment hearing. so i'm trying to find out how long will it be before i get a phone call or letter from him since he's at jackson. the officer also said we should hear of the final decision within 5 business days. so what's next? i mean the process which follows a revocation? will he have to do the whole 12 months and will he get credit for time served in jail?
