If someone gets deported from the United States, can they legally live in Canada?

One more thing,
My husband would get deported to China (where he was born) but could we move to Canada?

What should be your main concern is: how will your husband be able to leave China ?? If he's deported to China, I guess the American authorities will put him in a plane flying to China. So what will happen once he's in China ?? This is not exactly the most democratic country in the world, and I don't think people can just travel out of the country as they wish !! :(

From what is stated in your profile, your husband has still 4 years to do. Meanwhile, try to contact any and all humanitarian organizations so that your husband won't be deported, or at least not deported to China. Try Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International etc.. If I were you, I would also contact the Canadian Embassy in the US.
