Hi: I was wondering if anyone was having problems getting phone calls from their man. I know with the heat wave, that Calipatria sometimes has rolling blackouts and they are locked down and can't use the phone. Does someone have a man there who hasn't been able to call lately? Just wondering.

:( Hello,
I haven't had a single call from my husband since a bit over a week ago, very strange? I was thinking that possibly because he is still not truly in his semi-permanent placement (or whatever they call it) as of yet. I have been denied visiting on the basis of a reason listed as "warrent-dispo"? I think it was because of a pending court trial to defend myself for a DUI (I wasn't even driving, my car ran out of gas, driver went to get some and I stayed up near the car on the highway and called for a tow truck so there wouldn't be an accident. I was trying to protect people, I know better than to drive after a couple of drinks, but the patrol man didn't believe me :blah: -Oh well, lots of hassle, but it's over, the District Attorney dropped the case once the driver showed up in Court :p -DMV still whomped me though).
I guess I'll send another visitor's questionnaire in now and hopefully be approved, I don't really cherish the idea of the almost 8 hr. drive there, yikes! :shake:
