JUST ASKING.. my brother-in law is at La tuna Fci. They have being in lockdown or whatever since 8-3-2006. Any one has any news about it??? We havent received any info on this. Please let me know.

Hi! My husband is in La Tuna also. No word from him yet. I am hoping tomorrow (Monday) I keep praying he is ok. If I don't hear anything tomorrow then I'm going to ask our priest to see if he can visit or find out something.

My husband is also in la tuna and I actually had to search like the albq. news papers to find out what was going on but i haven't heard anything at all, in fact i haven't even gotten any mail from him either. i'm really worried about what is going on. he hasn't even been there for like three weeks. i thought that it might have had something to do with all the rain and flooding that they had. did you know that part of the roof caved in on them?

Prison locked down after fight
ANTHONY — The La Tuna Federal Correctional Institution in Anthony, Texas, was locked down Wednesday after several inmates were injured in a fight just after noon.
According to information from a prison spokesman, the incident occurred as the inmates were returning to work or to their housing areas after lunch...

I know that they are ok from the flooding. My brother in-law call on tuesday when it happend. This is just because of the locked down. My mother in-law called yesterday and they told her that no visits or calls all this week also. (8-7-06 to 8-13-06)

Hey I just wanted to let you guys know that my husband called me last night at 1130 CST and again this evening. Apparently it was more than just a little fight but everyone is doing okay and they are letting them call their families slowely. They have taken away all of the inmates TVs, tables, chairs, and fans. And for some awful reason they turned of the coolers that they have. He said that tomorrow they should be getting back some of there things. But the lock down will be lifted tomorrow. I hope that this helps you guys. I know I was so happy when I heard his voice.
