Took the kids to visit today. We had wonderful visit. We had missed his smile so much. Talked and played cards, and then the visit was over.:( So on our way home we were all pretty down and tired. And all of a sudden blue lights:eek: I got a reckless driving ticket 85 in a 65. Damn VA trooper wouldnt even knock it down a couple of points so that it would not be reckless driving. Like we wasnt sad enough and spend a ton of money for the trip, now I have court and a big fine!:blah: Well just needed to vent, thanks for listening. Hope everyones evening is going well!!!!!

What a yucky way to end what was a nice visit. But, small price to pay for visiting...

That sux maybe the the judge/prosecutor can reduce it so speeding. I had one of those before it is as bad as a DWI on your record,but it was merged with the other ticket basically dropped. good luck

Don't feel bad, do what you have to do and let it go, just think about your wonderful visit that's what realy matters. get one of those "ticket Clinics" and you will be all right for your next visit :-)

Well, I went to court, had to take that 8 hour class on a Saturday. $65 in court cost, $65 for the class, $100 fine, improper driving, and 3 points. I got to visit this weekend!!!! But ya better believe I wasnt doing 85!!!! Take Care All!!

Yeah...those Covington guys in uniform are something! Not sure what area you was snagged up in...but I had about the same kind of ticket. No classes...I assume because I was from out of state.
You'll travel a little more safer now..and take the time to enjoy the mountains!
