My son was just moved to JCLCC yesterday. Could someone who has visited there give me some information on how it works and when they have visiting. We are new at this and don't know the ropes. I've never even been to a CC before. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks...

The visits at JL are good when I was visiting. My friend has been out since February so I don't know if things have changed since them, but we didn't have any trouble in the visiting room. You visit either Saturday or Sunday depening on your last name and the times of visitation depend on the level. You can PM me if you have any more questions.

not sure about J.L. but most places you must have picture I.D. no open toed shoes, no sleeve less shirts,no shorts, no dresses or skirts above the knee. Most of these places set there own rules, and also a lot depends on what CO is working, some are more laid back than others. What is a rule today may not be tomorrow hold your temper roll with the flow. Remember any thing you do to cause a co work can be taken out on your son.
