Hi all. I've been a member of the federal forums for some time now, But yet again my husband was transferred, this time to USP Terre Haute.

I wanna hear the good, the bad and the UGLY!

Personally, compared to the other USP's I've dealt with having a loved one inside...this place seems like a charm! Imagine that! Don't get me wrong, I'd still like to have him home with me...but time has seemed easier under these conditions. Thats my take...could it be that he or I have just come to accept we have just over 5 more years of this...just ride it out in cruise control, maybe. But it really seems more to it.

my fiance, Shawn, told me the same thing........he said where he was transfered from, terre haute is so much better, better commissary, the guards seem to have more respect for the prisoners, it is just better there

The problem there is that they always seem to be put on lockdown for one thing or another. You can rarely get anyone to answer the phone if you try to call to see what the status is before you drive there.
