View Full Version : SATP question rainier 07-10-2006, 08:03 PM Is there anyway that a person that does not have a lot of time left but still is on the list for the SATP program, can get set up at an outpatient clinic so they don't have to stay pass their release date? He was going to join it just to knock off some time, as bad as that might sound. Thanks for the comments, I'll let him know all I find out! karen3693 07-11-2006, 12:05 AM My son is in SATP.It was not mandatory,he has no drug charges.The counselor at diagnostics suggested it.They put him in it after he completed anger management.And the parole board stipulated him.He has seen others in the program that were a approved for parole and were not stipulated even though they had not finished Satp were released. rainier 07-11-2006, 12:20 AM Thanks Karen, that's what I keep hearing. Sounds like it depends on the parole boards mood! Kitty Skylar's_love 08-12-2006, 10:35 PM Ok my husband found out he got accepted into SATP in May, he is in Calico Rock and they do not have SATP there so he has to be transferred to another facililty for this. so the question is does anyone know how long the waiting list is for SATP or how long it usually takes to start the program once accepted? |
