HELP!! I NEED SOME HELP FIGURING OUT THE FED. SENT. TABLE. MY FIANCE IS AT A LEVEL 32, BUT I CANNOT FIGURE OUT HIS CRIMINAL HISTORY LEVEL. HOW DO YOU DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN THE LEVELS? HE SAID SOMETHING ABOUT FOR EVERY CRIME YOU HAVE BEEN SENTENCED TO FOR A YEAR AND A DAY IT BUMPS YOU UP ONE LEVEL. IS THIS TRUE. ALSO DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW MUCH TIME IS KNOCKED OFF FOR ADMITTING YOUR GUILT. I HAVE HEARD THAT IT IS ANYWHERE FROM 33%-40%? HE IS NOT RISKING TRIAL. WE WILL LOSE FOR SURE. THE FEDS HAVE A GREAT RECORD OF CONVICTION. ANY ADVICE OR STORIES OF PAST EXPERIENCE WOULD BE GREAT! THANKS!!

Take a breath and calm down for a minute. The sentencing guidelines can be very tricky.

Yes, the add points for every prior criminal conviction he has, but there are rules to that too.

He should get a 3 pt acceptance of responsiblity reduction if he pleads out or helps the authorities.
