I received a letter from one of my death row pen pals. His sentence was vacated on November 10'th 2005! Unfortunately the prison is keeping him on death row to get more money. Talib was convicted of burglary and murder and has been on deat row for over 24+ years. He is one I truly believe this man when he says he is innocent! He is one of 2 I had on death row that has steadily maintaned their innocence.
Please keep him in your prayers, so that he can return to his family.
Thank you
Valorie

Valorie,

That is really good news about Talib. However, it is not such good news that he is still on death row. I hope that everything works out well for him and he will be able to prove his innocence. Please pass on my best wishes to Talib.

Take care,

Ness

Thank you Patti. I dont know what it is about this man cept hes sent me documents that if a first grader read he or she could figure out hes innocent. He thinks cause hes minority. not only is he African American but he is Muslim. He has missed his kids growing up and everything. It is so sad, but if I ever believed in anyone's innocence I believe him.

Valorie, I would not be at all surprised. Anyone who does not see the racial prejudice in our prison system, especially on Death Row, just isn't looking very closely.

I send you and Talib every good wish. Please do keep us all posted.

Hey valorie1!

Blessings to you and your dear friend. What are they waiting on -- Nov. 2005 and it's almost Nov. 2006! I lived in Lexington & Versailles KY - It's called the friggin COMMONWEALTH STATE - make the rules and laws up as you go and by no means is it a place for an African American Male who is also Muslim to break the law.

William Swinford is an EXCELLENT Atty if he can do anything. The man is powerful and carries great weight inside the courtroom with the Judges and Prosecutors. The last I knew he was located somewhere around Short Street.

This is not sitting well with me it was vacated in Nov. 2005 Commonwealth of Ky is breaking the law. VACATED beens ANNULLED it's over with -- time to be set free. Somebody needs to start writing letters, making phone calls and asking questions.

God's Peace,
littlemama
