hi all
my hunee wrote me a letter today and he is working as a tier runner/porter, he says he makes sure inmates get what they need food/hygiene, he said also cell moves and transports whatever that is. he has been in reception since April 23 and is due to be released in sept 2003, he wrote a kite to see if he is able to get 1/2 time which his sentence was 10 months half, because it doesnt look like he will make mainline before he is released. has anyone heard of working in reception?

Carol, this is a good thing! They use trustee's to do those jobs. Transportation "might" mean taking letters and paper work to where they belong? He's one popular guy around the house (tier)!

Karen, Hi next door neighbor, Stockton here.

My brother is in CCI in Tehachapi and he too is working in reception. It is a really good thing because it helps them when they meet with their counselor. It may affect where they are placed and it just looks good on their record as well as getting them in good with the guards.
