How did the visiting go? Crowded? New officers? I am dieing to know. I've decided to go on the 4th. I figured everybody else will be partying from the weekend. I haven't been for a full month. -C

Well, I'm heading out there in about six hours -- I'll check back in Sunday night! :)

It was totally cool!! I didn't have an appointment and I got into the visiting room @ 10:40am. ( I usually get in @ 10:10 am) It could be also, that "B" Yard is locked down w/ no visiting so it was less crowded? All I know is that it's getting really hot there now!! :( :(

Me too Cheetoes, I got there at 9:30, went to Starbucks, came back at 10:30 and was in by 11. Pretty sweet!

But it was awfully quiet with B yard locked down so maybe that was why... Did anyone go on July 4th??

Yes, I went July 4th. I got there about 8:15 'ish. At 8:30 the officer came out with the numbered passes. I got 188. Lets put it this way, by 9:30am I was not only finished processing but sitting and waiting for him to get in. At 9:45am we hugged! I have never, ever been in and sitting with him that early even with an 8:45am appt!! Most were the usual officers and visiting room Lt. Everyone was friendly. It wasn't over crowded and comfortable with the temp. I love holidays! -C

I went on the 4th too and as ixgood said, it was awesome, not crowded at all, I was with him by 9:15 and I had 8:45 appointments. So I don't think that was bad at all, the nice thing was that they had quarters in the machine and the vending machines got stocked as usual twice a day and they had ice cream. I'm talking about D yard.

The bad thing was that they didn't have any photo ducats, I got one from a friend so we were able to take a picture, that was nice I just think it sucked for people that couldn't get one and wanted to take a pic.

I went this past Sunday ( yesterday, LOL) and there still wasn't any photo ducats!! :( :(
