My man and I already had put in our paperwork to get married way back in Febuary/March and after they got the paperwork they told him that they changed the process. Now the inmate has to purchase the paperwork from the Library and they have to have the money on their books. Then it is sent to them and they fill out their part and then I am supposed to recieve the Brides info paperwork and I am still waiting my man already filled out his so now it's just a waiting game.

I'm curious, what are you paying for? That little questionare? And how much do you have to pay for it? And then on top of that do you have to go get the marriage license? Or do they? I mean is that esentially what you are paying for? Things have really changed since I got married.

I HAVE TO GO AND FILE FOR THE MARRIAGE LICENSE ONCE I AM CLEARED AND PAY FOR THAT SEPARATE. SO YEA IT'S DIFFERENT, WE WERE ALL READY IN NEW FOLSOM BUT THEN HE GOT TRANSFERED. SO NOW WE HAVE TO WAIT ALL OVER AGAIN !!!

MY HUSBAND COUNSELOR TOLD ME THEY HAVE TO PAY $5. DOLLARS FOR THE MARRIAGE PAPERS...

I FINALLY GOT AN UPDATE ON GETTING MARRIED AND NOW HE'S WAITING TO SEE THE COUNSELOR, SO SOON VERY SOON .... I HAVE FAITH !!!

My man is at Delano now and I have pertected order the judge put on me an I able to take my kids to see him is reception? And he also got in a fight in there and mailed me a violation paper does he go to court fot that to and how do I find out how much longer will he get?

THe marriage process was so much smoother for me and I only had to pay $75 for the priest and I think it was another $70 for the marriage license and the priest filed it for us, I didn't have to do anythign. The paperwork was free I just had to go find a notary to notarize my Drivers license and go pay for a copy of my birth certificate, then we picked a date and I became The General's Wife in August 15, 2003. It was all pretty easy. The questions were interesting too. They made you think that the prison was trying to persuade you not to get married.

I have not posted here in a while........... I guess I've just been busy with work and stuff. My visiting suspension is almost up on August 12th!!!!!!!!!!! 6 months without a visit, I cant wait to go back.
