I am sitting here waiting for news they should be moving Terry sometime this week or next from the minimum unit at McAlester to a Community Center. Its a big step towards his coming home and we are both really excited and nervous about it. What has me on pins and needles is wondering where they will ship them. I have gotten recommendations for him to get shipped here to OKC from the classification manager for his region and his case manager and I am relly hoping they will honor those recommendation but it isn't a guarantee they will. I have been told they will try to move him closer to here since this is where he s from and where he will parole or discharge to but I have also seen them ship them to the other side of the state for WR. I have been having trouble getting the 2 hours to McAlester and fear they will move him even further all the while hoping and praying they will actually do something right and decent and movehim here. They have recently added almost 600 new beds to the community centers here when they moved the women at Mable Basset from here in the city to a private prison they bought in McLeod. But of course almost 300 hundred of them were taken up when the tornado destroyed Clara Waters. But hey it isnt they only community here I was told it is easier to get a bed here now becauseof it though so I am really really praying he gets here but part of me keeps saying my luck he will be sent to timbucktu! Sorry I am rambling I just hate all this not knowing I am so used to being in charge and taking care of all this crap for myself and for him. GRRRR I want them to get it done so I know what we are facing about where he is!

I told Terrys case managers if he would let me stay and be Terrys cell mate I promise we would both be model inmates and they would never have to worry about either of us. He wasnt buying it though.

Sarah I soon will also be doing the waiting thing too. it is only 13 days til Trent signs his packet. I am hoping that he goes to a minimum close to me. But like you the thought has also popped into my head about them sending him to one that is even further away from me than he is now. You know how the Oklahoma Department of Corrections is. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. What exactly does it feel like to sit on pins and needles(just so i will know what it feels like ahead of time)? lol :D

You are in my thoughts and prayers...I am sitting on pins and needles also....we are waiting on a court date for my husband. The other two defendants have been released this past month. We are praying that the judge will do the same for my husband too. Hang in there...things always seem to work out.

Oh PRAISE I will say lots of prayers for you both that he is released and sent home to you. Let us know so we can share your joy when it happens.

Talked to his case manager( and him earlier) he hasnt been moved yet so another week of waiting and wondering GRRR These damn pins and needles are gettting really uncomfortable

We shall over come if they move hoim further too but damn I cant help hoping and praying for something to go our way!! But hey I have done all I can I have recommendations from his case manager and the classification lady for his region it is now up to the transfer and transport people at Lexington.Since Jamie( eastern region classification ) said it was sent to them this week. They make the final decisions on where they are placed and when they will move.
