My son has moved from millhaven reception ( after only 2months) to minimum in Frontenac. He arrived there today. He is thrilled. He can't believe it and either can all of us (his family). He said it was almost like a dream and he would surely wake up and still be in millhaven. He said he doesn't know what to do with his freedom. Once he is settled he will have to work though, but he is ready for that. His parol officer really helped to get him there. He is so lucky!!

plow- That is really good news! I just posted some info on Frontenac in the Can.Prison Profile (http://www.prisontalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=210696)section.It sounds like a really progressive facility! No fences, gates or barbed wire- farms and classrooms etc:thumbsup: . Let us know how he is getting on when you hear more.

Hi:
Thank you for the kind words. Chris is doing fine. He is still in shock that he was moved so soon and to minimum security. He looks at it as a gift and is very grateful. He starts work on Monday in the kitchen. Tomorrow (Friday) and saturday is busy for him. He has orientation and a course to do. His crime was minimal (he hurt no one). He deserves a chance to right a wrong. Keep you informed. I can't wait to visit with his 2 sons.

Plow...sounds excellent. Instead of being in Milhaven and having to walk around with phone books wrapped around your waste in fear of being stabbed. That place is not nice. Best of luck!
