I have a family member that is at Holman prison in Alabama. We were told that a show should air on MSNBC that would show INSIDE of the prison and the inmates. it was supposed to air this past sunday some time. i searched the MSNBC web site, but couldnt find anything. there WAS a show on there last night at 8 p.m and 11 that was about a inmate on Death Row... but it never showed any other inmates. Does anyone know about any upcoming shows, and or old news show that might air again, or how i could get a copy of any??? thanks michele

MSNBC interviewd both me and my fiance this past tuesday (june 27) and told us it would air sometime relatively soon....G thanks! They interviewed him for a full hour in his cell and then filmed us in the visitation with mics on and then interviewed me afterwards. I hope they do not butcher this up in editing. I hope I don't regret this. My fiance is one of the juvenile offenders released from death row so they were interested in that. The reporter said they have no access to death row so this was the best way for them to find out about it. We will find out when it airs, and as soon as I know, I will post it here.

Bobby, my family member that is in Holman, is in (seg) lock up. he has been at holman for the past 10 years. in his last letter, he said that the MSNBC camera crew had bene therend had interviewed him personaly. I havent gottent to see him since i was 10 ( now 28) I have just in the past month found him and his mom. I have emailed MSNBC but they have yet to let me know ANYthing about this show. PLEASE let me know ANYTHING about this, when you find out.

please let me know if you hear anything. My man is on d.r at Holman but a really good friend of his was a juvenile who has been moved from there into general population and my aunt writes to him so it would be really nice if she could see where he is. Also I have only ever seen pictures of the outside of Holman never the inside.

My husband watched a movie on life time a few wks ago that was filmed at Donaldson. One could email life time and see if that would tell the name of the movie and if they would show it again.....God Bless All...mother1952

I've watched Lock Up a few times and honestly, it really bothered me to see the inside. I mean, I almost cried about how they had to live.

i have also watched a few of the "lock up" shows on MSNBC, and NO, it doesnt look NICE in their.. and im sure it's ALOT worse than it shows, because they have the power to edit out anything and everything they want to unlike the inmates.

this is something that i hope they didnt butcher up when they edited it, "he" said he actualy laughed while on camera, so beyond everything else.. i'd be nice to see him smile... but im SURE he had more than a few things not so nice that he said.. or would have liked to of said. plus i'd like to see what they actualy will show compared to what all he actualy said to them.

I still have not heard any new news on the show. It has not been cheduled to air yet so that is why it is not yet on the MSNBC site. MSNBC has their line-up of documentaries lined up for a little while so I am pretty sure it will not air until Fall. I am staying on top of this, but please, if anyone hear any solid news about it, let me know! In the meantime, I am constantly on the MSNBC website, and am trying very much so to reach the producer that we interviewed with; it is very hard to contact her.. :(

Still no updates...my fiance was given a questionaire by msnbc to fill out so I assume they have not yet completed the episode. I will surely post when i get any definite date. He said that the producer had mentioned the fall...so keep an ear open for that time frame!

I wanted to let you all know I found this on the MSNBC website. Lock Up Inside Holman Prison is set to air on Dec. 4 at 10:00 p.m. I thought yall would like to know that. I am not sure if that is eastern or central time though, but at least we know a date.

I have been watching the Lockup show that comes on MSNBC and I looked on the website but I cant find anything either..I did see an advertisement lastnight saying that new episodes of Lockup would air in December..So maybe it will be what we have all been waiting for!!

I got lucky when I found it on their website. Plus it took forever. It was on the educational and bio. page.

on the msnbc website you will only be able to watch clips. but maybe you can find a website that will let you download the whole thing. try bitorrent.com

FYI, For those of you interested in watching the MSNBC Show about lockup at Holman, shoot, it's on RIGHT NOW (2:00 a.m. EST) on MSNBC. This will be the THIRD time I've seen it. If you want to know when it's on again, I suggest you go to the MSNBC website.

I know the National Geographic channel also airs episodes of "Lockup". So far, I've only seen eps of California prisons. Usually on Mondays they air several episodes...not "Lockup", neccessarily, but other documentaries about the prison system. I don't know how many of you saw the Holman episode but, the conditions in that place are absolutely deplorable:yuck: !!!

To hell with this show, honestly. I had to look at the back on my baby's damn head while they showed the mother fucking execution gurney, and to hell with that shit, I am so drunk I can barely type, and I am gonna watch it again at 2 and get even angrier. I am just so mad. He deserves better. Those guys deserve better. They treat them like animals and expect a better result from them than what THEY put in, and I just cant stand it. I'm REALLY pissed, and this show is not helping. Sorry for acting like a drunk bitch, but I am just so angry. He needs to be home with ME and not there being mistreated and having those people acting like he is a damn dog that needs to be put down. Seriously, I was already having a bad day, and the piece of shit that I live with took the phone cord from me so I can't talk to my love, and I am just ILL as a hornet. I just want to throw my arms around him and let him know I love him and let him know that he can never, ever give up, and that its not his destiny to die in the shithole. It just makes me so mad.
