HeYy i'm hoping someone can possibly help me I'm only 17 and scared to death... My fiance is in ventress he's been in for 8 months. and he had a parole hearing on the 14th but got denied. He is graduating the s.a.p program this friday. I'm proud he has really changed alot!! but the parole board set his parole off until june 2007 but are wedding was suppose to be march 17th 2007! what is it with a big church wedding and a bride waiting on the groom! weve been planning this for a year and a half ad now they tell me he wont make it there!! can someone please help me who can i contact or what can i do. like i said i'm a kid myself and i have never had to go through none of this before!!! PLEASE help me if you can thankz

welcome to PTO Hollie, sorry to hear that your wedding plans must be delayed..thats a real bummer. but from past expriences I can tell you that things have a way of working themselves out. If you guys are "meant to be" you will make it thru this and have your big church wedding after he is released.

Update On Jason!! Well He Graduated the S.A.P program and the next day he began working for the K-9 Unit training dogs... you'll never believe it, he gets to run all through the woods everyday, but now they only do it in the mornings and after that he just sits under a tree all day. I worte the governor asking for help and he wrote me back and contacted the parole board, I sent in his graduation certificate and grade in S.A.P he got abover average on a few things and average on all the others. He sent me a petition of reconsideration of early parole from the law library in prison and I got 50 people to sign it and sent it in also. So now what do you think will happen? and what else do you think i could possible do?
