:p I WAS VISITING MY BABY THE OTHER DAY AND AS I WAITED FOR HIM TO COME OUT, I LOOKED AROUND THE ROOM AND MORE THAN HALF OF THE VISITING ROOM WAS FILLED WITH INTERACIAL COUPLES.
I HAVE TO SAY THAT IT BROUGHT A SMILE TO MY FACE. MY MAN IS WHITE BLACK AND MEXICAN AND I AM WHITE AND NATIVE AMERICAN. I GUESS ITS KINDA SILLY THAT IM POSTING THIS BUT I JUST WANTED TO SHARE MY SMILE WITH THE REST OF YOU!!!!

same here mrssunnyb - and everyone always asks me what i am "mixed" with - i am always having to say i am white - it's like they have to justify it somehow....

I AM IN THE SAME BOAT! THERE ARE TIMES I FEEL LIKE I'M OUT OF PLACE BECAUSE WE ARE THE ONLY IRR COUPLE IN THE ROOM!!

It doesnt bother me a bit that we are an IR couple, i like that everbody looks. It would put a smile on my face too to see more IR coupkes than the other.

my first visit with him at county, I had noticed that I wasnt the only one there in a IRR, but of course where I lived at that time, you see alot of IRR so it was no biggy, but where I live now, its a racist town, its not "normal" but I dont get treated any differently then what I use too by the people who knows me and they dont look at him any different neither(its a one horse town, everybody knows everybody....well atleast they think they do)

Most of the time we are the only IRR couple in there, but I really have to look around to notice. The only reason I even notice that is because a fellow PTO member and I were planning on meeting up there and she is also in an IRR, so I always look to see if she is there. I don't even notice the looks and stares anymore.

Smiling with you but not just for IRR couples but for all couples that stand strong through the tough times...
