I live in Show Low and am going to need to travel all the way to Yuma to see my guy. I can not figure out the idiot that decided where inmates go. Another women on the forum wrote they live in Texas and the guy is 34 miles away from me. Why didn't they send him to the Texas Prison? Why send mine 380 miles away when there are 3 prisons within an 86 mile radius of our home? :( God I hate this state and the idiot law makers here!

Hi there, welcome to PTO and the AZ forum. :) They move them wherever there is bedspace, according to their custody level. Sometimes it happens to be the furthest possible location from their family. :( I hope you are able to visit soon. :)
