My boyfriend just got sent back to San Quentin for violationg his parole. I would like to write a letter in support to the parole board for his parole revocation hearing. Whom do I send my letter to? What should I say in the letter? And any other tips you can provide regarding this matter. thankyou.
I know with Federal, it's the US Parole Commission. Theres a Washington address and you can look it up online.

i believe you write your letters to the BPH in Sacramento, and or his counselor that can be placed in his c-file.

If you can go to the hearing, it would be good. I went as a witness to two hearings for my son. In those cases, I went armed with specific information--photos,documents, and my own sheet of dates which the Commissioner let me use. His prison term was reduced both times. (My son's mom is hot!!)
Your bf will have to inform his attorney so you can be listed as his witness and you will be sent a form with all the info. as to when/where/rules. (This official form is your entrance to the location of the hearing.)
If you do not go that route, I think you can send the letter to the Board Of Prison Terms, but I would be concerned that it would get lost in the shuffle. Once he has been assigned an attorney, I'd feel safer sending it to that person.
I hope this helps a bit.
