One thing you might want to consider is signing up with companies that do online surveys or send you e-mail which pays you a small amount in return for reading it. Some survey companies don't pay anything, others take forever to get you into their database and start actually sending surveys, but it is worth the effort and wait. I do several surveys a month and they more than pay for the cost of my Internet access. Hardly riches, but anything is something.

www.volition.com used to be a good source of information on reputable outfits that will pay for your opinions and the like. Not sure if it still exists but it can't hurt to try....

I do join some contests and stuff but also I have signed up with a ton of online survey companies like Dave said.Most you get entered into drawings but some you get points then can spend them on stuff ( I have got at least 8 mag subscriptions so far) and some you get money from time to time $1 here $3 there etc.
