I am going to serve 6 months (hopefully less) at Rikers soon. Does anyone have any experience with the Rose M. Singer Center facility there? Have you been in yourself or gone to visit? Any information will be helpful.

I have seen the lists of what one can have or have brought to them in jail/prison on two sites. Does anyone have any specific info on all of this. Like, specific colors not allowed or any other specifics as to what is REALLY not allowed, even though it's listed.

Also, if anyone has served time there - what can I expect to experience??? please help.

Well I don't know if you have been sentenced yet or been picked up yet to go to Rosey. From what I hear, you have to keep your eyes open and your nose clean because the females in there are ruthlessly jealous and they like to talk a lot of junk. Good luck hunny!
