Hi All,
I couldn't find the answer to this specific question.......I know books from Amazon to PVSP are OK; how about CDs?
Many thanks!
Kate

Hey Y'all
I finally called PVSP and asked about this yesterday. Apparently now NO CD's are allowed to be sent in.........inmates have to special order them. WTH? Lame. But, at least they'll let hardcover books in now (they just take the covers off!).

Sadly, no.
CDs can only be ordered now as part of quarterly packages... you order them from the vendor, and while their selection isn't terrible, it's a lot more limited. :(

Nice to hear they now will allow the hard cover and they remove the covers. We can have a text book sent. my son is asking for textbooks to study, hard to find in paperback. thanks for the info

The guy on the phone said the rules re hardcover books had JUST changed.
I'm bummed about the CD thing - the way he made it sound is that they can't even come in quarterlies - they have to be ordered by the inmate. I may have misunderstood him, though. But, not happy! I wanted to send a CD as a surprise gift. :blah:

I know they can get hardcover textbooks, I didn't know about other hardcover books, though.
I thought they still get CDs in packages.. I'll ask this week.
